Spring Break Week Update

It was a busy few winter months, and it was challenging for me trying to get posts uploaded to our blog. Hope you enjoy perusing what I have put on! I am hoping to now have weekly updates for you to view, so keep checking in.

SPRING BREAK READING: I will be keeping traveling books & math traveling games at school during the break, so I hope you will take time over the break to read their own books at home with your child. They are in a great "window" right now where I am seeing a lot of growth in their fluency, so keep them going!!

Upcoming School Dates:
April 4, 2008: End of 3rd quarter
April 8-10: Parent/Teacher Conferences
April 23 (Wednesday) Early Dismissal (1:25PM)

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES: The end of third quarter is quickly approaching. We will be having parent/teacher conferences the week of April 7th . I will have more information later.

March comes "In Like a Lion!"

Will it go out like a lamb? We are tracking our March
weather each day, discovering how many "Lion" & "Lamb"
days we have as we get closer and closer to Spring!

Our 100th Day of School!

HAPPY 100TH DAY OF SCHOOL!!

We had the most *fun* day celebrating our 100th day! No one could have imagined how fun the number 100 could be until we arrived at this monumental day in 1st grade. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy: (click on any image to enlarge)
